Our CEO, Xiaofang Sutton, has been shortlisted for this year’s Asian Women of Achievement Awards, in the Entrepreneur category. Everyone at LCN is enormously proud and happy that Xiaofang has been recognised in a very impressive group of nominees.
The Asian Women of Achievement Awards were founded by Pinky Lilani CBE DL in 1999. They celebrate multicultural Britain and the contribution of diverse cultures and talents to UK society, by recognising the incredible efforts and achievements of Asian women across the UK. The awards play a key role in redefining the valuable and important contribution of Asian women, and informing a new, positive, pro-diversity debate.
This year’s nominees include an advocate helping families escape persecution in Afghanistan, athletes breaking down boundaries in sport, CEOs of big businesses, courageous journalists, and many more. They are all a shining example of important and inspirational work of Asian women in Britain today, and Xiaofang is thrilled to be counted among them. You’ll find the full list at www.awaawards.com.
The ceremony will take place on Thursday June 16, at the London Hilton on Park Lane. Good luck to all the finalists.
