It’s been a tense few days here at Chateau Sutton. You might have already gathered that I’m not known for my home improvement skills. Winter is clearly just around the corner, and the radiator thermostat in the ‘toy room’ on the top floor has been broken since last winter. My boss Xiaofang was not happy about that.
I decided to take a chance and find something on Amazon that looked like it might fit. I ordered it at the weekend, so that I could truthfully say that I’d done something about it, without actually having to get out of my chair to fetch a spanner.
The thermostat arrived two days later, and miraculously, it fits. I didn’t even need a spanner or a screwdriver. The moral of the story is that, sometimes, off-the-peg is just what you need. And you don’t need to go through the kerfuffle of hiring someone. That’s why we make available our ‘toolkits’ of intercompany agreements for TP compliance, and why we provide webinars to help train TP, tax, finance, and legal professions.
